How much does Nudge cost?

Nudge costs $9.99 once, with no subscription. Every feature is free for the first 7 days, with no account and no card. There is no free plan: after the trial, Nudge needs Lifetime Access.

How does the free trial work?

Every Mac gets one 7-day trial with every feature. It starts on its own the first time you open Nudge while online. No account, no card. To keep Nudge, add a card during the trial: nothing is charged until the trial ends, then $9.99 once for Lifetime Access. Cancel before then in Nudge → Settings → Account and nothing is charged. Or buy Lifetime Access for $9.99 at any time.

Do I need an account to use Nudge?

No. Nudge works without a sign-up, email or password. Paddle asks for your email only when you buy Lifetime Access or add a card.

Does Nudge block websites and apps?

Yes. Pick the apps and websites that distract you, and Nudge blocks them until the session ends. Websites are blocked in Safari and Chrome.

Does Nudge Lifetime Access renew?

No. Nudge Lifetime Access costs $9.99 once. It does not renew and there is no subscription.

Does Nudge work from the menu bar?

Yes. You can start and check an active focus session from the menu bar without opening the full app.

How do I activate Nudge Lifetime on a Mac?

Paste your license key in Nudge → Settings → Lifetime License Key and choose Activate. A key needs no email and no code. One license key activates Nudge Lifetime on one Mac.

Is Nudge Focus the same as the Nudge that reminds you to update macOS?

No. That Nudge is a free open-source tool from the Mac admins community that IT teams use to remind employees to install macOS updates. Nudge Focus at nudgefocus.app is a separate focus app that blocks distracting apps and websites during a focus session.

Is Nudge available on iPhone?

No. Nudge Focus is a Mac app for Apple silicon Macs (M1 and later) running macOS 13 or later. The iPhone app called “Nudge: Focus & App Blocker” is an unrelated app from BERG LLC.
